The Rochester fashion community is small but incredibly mighty. On RIT's campus, fashion-forward students involve themselves in the fashion club called "Fabrick" (a play on words regarding RIT's nickname, BRICK City).
Since 2023, Fabrick has produced two annual magazines that are a result of hard work, dedication, and collaboration.
2024's edition, Perspectives, covers the different spheres of fashion within RIT's community. It's full of fashion photography, interviews, interactive quizzes, and more.
MY ROLE
I worked as the creative director of this edition, which meant I oversaw the creative teams of photographers, graphic designers, and illustrators. I was responsible for maintaining the edition's cohesive aesthetic and feel, as well as creating an effective user experience throughout the edition.
I also contributed to some of the spread designs and created my own spreads, which will be highlighted below.

BEYOND FASHION
In addition to participating as a fashion designer, I also designed the 2023 Beyond Fashion Recap spreads for Perspectives. The Vignelli Center for Design Studies hosts an interdisciplinary fashion show each year at RIT, called Beyond Fashion.
2023's theme was the number 23 (Massimo Vignelli's favorite number) and the grid.
