PEOPLE IGNORE DESIGN THAT IGNORES PEOPLE

I created a series of typography posters, experimenting with material, color, and layout. I was drawn to the quote by renowned illustrator Frank Chimero, "People ignore design that ignores people."

Using select words from this quote, I created various posters combining elements of hidden words and human body parts (eyes, fingerprints, and feet/legs).
PSYCHOLOGY TODAY EDITORIAL DESIGN

By experimenting with projectors and photography, I distorted and re-imagined original images and typography to create captivating visuals for a highly conceptual topic. The article discussed mindsets in reference to focusing on the past, present, and future; I developed imagery with an overall mood of time-travel, including notes of both retro vintage and futuristic sci-fi.
Fun note: I was able to model for this project. I learned about what it takes to conduct editorial design work, beyond a graphic design perspective.
ANTI-FAST FASHION POSTERS

Due to the excessive waste produced by the fast fashion industry, I was inspired to create posters advocating against fast fashion, encouraging others to "resist the temptation" of cheap clothing. Combining original photography of clothing, trash, and a model, I was able to create a diptych poster campaign promoting mindful purchases.
POST MODERNISM DESIGN TIMELINE

I created an infographic focusing on the evolution of postmodern design. I am obsessed with my collection of vinyl records, enabling me to be personally drawn to learning as much as possible about postmodern graphic designers.
Using bright, jarring colors and a wide variety of distressed typefaces, I created an energizing but information-dense timeline.
BUFFALO PROMOTIONAL POSTERS

I was challenged to create solely typographic posters promoting tourism features of Buffalo, New York (my home town). Using two complimentary typefaces for each poster and an established Buffalo-themed color palette, I designed two distinct posters.
