REIMAGINED CD PACKAGING DESIGN
It's always unfortunate when a designer's favorite music album is not very aesthetically pleasing. The good news is, designers fix problems, especially visual ones.
I set out to create a bold, striking, and more effective design for the album "I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love" (2002) by My Chemical Romance.
This album features a popular emotional hardcore tracklist, telling a story about love and death with many dramatic references to bullets. It's high energy; fiery orange contrasted against a dusty black captures its mood and angst perfectly. This reimagined CD packaging includes a folded insert with credits, dedications, and the full lyrics of the album in addition to the CD case and CD design.
